More Trees Now

Performed an audit for the Dutch nonprofit Urgenda Foundation to identify errors in the UK and Ireland version of their user guide and Tree Planner. MoreTreesNow.eco is a project dedicated to relocating young trees that lack growth opportunities to areas where they can thrive, contributing to the overall increase in forestation. The thorough examination revealed several issues, including links redirecting to Dutch rather than English pages, and PDFs and external sites opening within the main site, inadvertently navigating users away from the primary content. Additionally, found images with Dutch text instead of the intended English. Compiled a detailed report of these findings and forwarded it to the organization for necessary corrections. A significant part of this project also involved fixing the incorrect Dutch-to-English translations across all pages in the guide and Tree Planner. Ensured the website content was presented in correct British English, enhancing the user experience and the guide’s overall professionalism. All content was sent to the organization to make the updates. Assisted in updating content on the website in Elementor.
